MARSHFIELD, Wis. (AP) -- Damage from a weekend fire at a food ingredient plant in central Wisconsin is estimated at $100,000.
Marshfield fire officials say the blaze at Quality Ingredients Corp., was contained to a drying unit inside one of the company's buildings. Deputy Chief Craig DeGrand says the fire destroyed about $100,000 worth of processed food product.
The Marshfield News-Herald says firefighters were on the scene Sunday morning for about six hours.
The Associated Press initially reported the damage to be estimated at $1 million, however that amount has since changed.
