The 17th annual Festival of Trees kicks off in Rothschild today and its all in an effort to benefit Hospice care.
Businesses from across the area decorate and sponsor different Christmas trees which are all on display.
People can bid on a variety of different items which all raise money for Aspirus's Comfort Care and Hospice services.
Festival of Trees organizers say its a great way to benefit the community all while getting to enjoy a taste of the Christmas season.
"Its a great way to kick off the holiday but its also a great way to learn a little bit about Hospice and to give back to the community. " says event organizer Kalynn Pempek.
The Festival of Trees has an opening night gala event taking place tonight for $50 per person,
but will be open to the public starting tomorrow.
It runs through December 1st and admission is $5.
