Feisty Marshfield Granny Who Spoiled Robbery Dies at 97

The 97-year old Marshfield grocery store owner who gained national attention after stopping would-be robbers by offering them toostie rolls has died.

According to her obituary in the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune, Marge Wolf passed away Friday at Saint Joseph's Hospital with her family by her side.

The feisty granny owned Wolf's Grocery Store in Marshfield for more than 50-years before retiring this past December. At the time she told NewsChannel 7 her store would be converted into apartments.
