UPDATE: Police ID'ed Victim in Price County Snowmobile Crash

The Price County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal snowmobile accident on a public trail east of Phillips in the Township of Worcester.

The initial investigation reveals the snowmobile left the trail, struck a wire and then hit a tree. Seventy-year-old Patricia Curran, of Menonomonee Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The Price County Sheriff's Department, the Wisconsin DNR, the Phillips Ambulance Service and the Price County Coroners Office all responded to the crash.
