Antigo man will spend 45 days in jail and two years on probation after he was convicted of using someone else's credit card at an ATM.
On July 26, the Antigo Police Department posted a photo on their Facebook page of suspect they believe had stolen and used credit cards belonging to someone else to make $800 worth of withdrawals.
The department received an anonymous tip that the suspect was Derek Cline, 19.
Investigators interviewed Cline who admitted to getting drunk and entering a garage on Sunset Drive. According to the criminal complainant, Cline said he took the wallet and drove to Wausau, making withdrawals at two locations.
Cline reached a plea deal with prosecutors Thursday. He pleaded guilty to using someone else ID to obtain money. A second count of that charge, along with a count of burglary was dismissed.
A judge will consider expunging the case from Cline's record if he stays out of trouble. A hearing has been set for January 2016.
