The former Oneida and Forest County medical examiner convicted of stealing parts from a body in an autopsy in January 2012 is scheduled to be sentenced Monday in Oneida County.

Last month in Oneida County Circuit Court, Traci England, 46, pleaded guilty to two counts of misconduct in public office. As result, a charge of theft and obstructing an officer were dismissed.

The defense and the prosecution are both asking for 10 days in jail, three years on probation, and 300 hours of community service, however, that doesn't necessarily mean that is how the judge will rule.

Prosecutors say England took the human remains to train her cadaver dog.

Monday in court, the family of the two known victims spoke asking for a harsher punishment.

NewsChannel 7's Clare Kaley is in the courtroom and will the outcome of the sentencing as soon as it is available.
