F-16 Fighter Jets are to blame for the rattling of homes in Wood County, and as far North as Stratford.
The Wis. Air National Guard says a dozen or so student pilots from Texas are up training at Volk Field, and will be making their way as far as 50 miles north in Stratford.
"Right now with these air crafts here, we're seeing a lot more activity," said Chris Hansen with the Wis. Air National Guard. "And based on the training requirements for their students, they're spending time down at low altitude so people are seeing the air crafts more than they normally would. But I can assure you, this is all within normal training."
The jets can fly as low as 500 ft. above the ground.
Once the student pilots complete their 8-10-month program, they will then be deployed to various combat places around the world, like Afghanistan.
