Parents have one day left to register for the expanded Parental Choice Program. It gives low-income students a chance to attend a private school for next to no money.
Parental Choice has been in Wisconsin for 20 years but with the expanded program, 500 more students 25 school systems across the state will be able to take part.
Parents have until 4 p.m. Friday to apply.
The schools are chosen based on the amount of interest shown. The voucher stays with the student until they exit that particular school system.
