Enbridge Energy Partners has received approval from Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) to restart Line 14, after one of its pipelines leaked about 1,200 barrels of oil in late last month.
The company said the leak happened July 27 near Grand Marsh in Adams County. They say they were alerted by a pressure drop in the line, which was immediately shut down.
Enbridge estimates Line 14 will return to service on Tuesday.
The leak happened in a 24-inch pipeline that mainly carries light crude oil to Chicago area refineries.
