Electronic Recycling Event Held Saturday in Wausau

The Good News Project in Wausau will be accepting electronics during their recycle event on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. To noon. They are also open every Friday from 9 a.m. To 5 p.m.

All electronic items, including televisions and microwaves, can be disposed of for 30 cents per pound. A typical computer outfit weighs 40 to 60 pounds and will cost $12 to $18 to recycle. Laptops, cell phones, smartphones and inkjet cartridges are accepted free of charge. Data security is guaranteed.

Pick up service is available. Call 715-843-5985 for rates.

The Good News warehouse is at 1106 Fifth St., Wausau.
