Write-in Candidate Unoffically Beats out Incumbent for Auburndale School Board Seat

A write-in candidate has been elected to the Auburndale School Board.

The school district tells NewsChannel 7 Susan Strobel Raab got 231 votes. Wayne Meyer, the incumbent, only got 168 votes. The school district tells us Meyer has been on the school board since May of 2012.

A check of the district's website, shows he is the treasurer and serves on the finance committee.
