WTMJ-TV is reporting that Donald Driver and the Packers have agreed on a contract re-structuring. Driver's agent confirmed it in an e-mail.
Driver posted this on his Twitter account Tuesday night. "When I said I will be a Packer for life. It is now true. Packer for life."
The franchise's all-time leading receiver, Driver has one year remaining on his contract that called for a 1.5-million dollar roster bonus and 2.6-million dollar base salary. That's before the re-structure.
With Driver's return almost certain now, it will make the training camp battle for a possible 6th receiver intriguing between Tori Gurley and Diondre Borel.
