A car pulled from the Fox River on June 26, during a river clean up project, was reported stolen in 1979. The car is 1975 Plymouth Valiant.
The car's former owner said he left it running outside the Duck Duck Goose bar in Green Bay. Sadly, the owner died last June.
According to WFRV-TV, police say a tire iron was found pressed on the accelerator.
A dredging crew in Brown County discovered the car about 20 feet below the surface.
