Some dogs are taking home a number one title now that the Paper Cities Kennel Club's Annual Dog Show is over.
Dog lovers from all over the U.S. were at the Patriot Center in Rothschild Saturday and Sunday, hoping their pooch was the best in the show.
This was the first year the show was at the Patriot Center. Organizers said people can now expect more at their new venue.
"It's always nice, if you love your dogs, to be in air conditioning in the summer. So they're happy it be inside then outside in the storms. . . So they're pretty happy to be in here. There's a lot of room for crates to keep the dogs in here and keep them cool," said Cherilyn Antin.
Experts were also there giving lessons on training, grooming and picking the right breed for your lifestyle. It's two days that trainers said they prepare for months.
Over 120 different breeds competed in the show.
