An Illinois man has agreed to pay for damages after he left "The Store" in Rib Mountain with the gas pump hose still in his gas tank, ripping it from the gas pump.
According to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, a witness thought the driver drove off with out paying for the gas and called authorities around 9 a.m. Monday morning.
The driver did return to the gas station and offered to pay for damages. No charges will be filed.
