The City of Adams is hoping to answer questions about a new waste treatment facility.

Members of the city council say the facility will bring in new environmentally-friendly technology and more than 200 jobs to the area, but some are saying the cost to tax payers will be too great.

Green technology company, Geits, has current plans to build the waste treatment facility and future plans to build a wind turbine manufacturing facility.

Still many say they are hesitant, fearing it will cost the city tax payers 22-million dollars over the next 25-years.

The City Administrator, Bob Ellisor says that is not the case and that any cost to the city will be made up.

Finally he says that he believes all questions will soon be answered this week at as representatives for Geits and members of the city counsel will address the public's concerns at a meeting at the Adams Community Center this Wednesday February 5th at 6:00 p.m.
