KEWASKUM, Wis. (AP) -- Two teenagers have died in a collision with a sheriff's deputy in Washington County.
The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Kewaskum. WISN-TV reports the deputy suffered minor injuries, but the two teens in the other car were killed.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says a teen driving a 2004 Ford Taurus lost control of the car and hit the deputy's squad car head-on.
The deputy was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The State Patrol says heavy rain and wet pavement may have been factors in the crash. The patrol is investigating.
Names of the teenagers were not immediately released.
