Deputy Rescues Raccoon Frozen to Sidewalk

A Shawano County raccoon found himself in quite the predicament over the weekend.

According to the Shawano Leader-Telegram newspaper, a deputy responded to the report of a raccoon frozen to the sidewalk in Wittenberg.

According to the newspaper, the raccoon become frozen in a pool of his own urine.

The deputy used warm water to free the animal and it was able to walk away.
