The Marathon County Sheriff's Department says a 43-year-old woman found dead in a semi near Wittenberg died of a fatal combination of drugs and alcohol.

Investigators say Cynthia Lozier's death was accidental.

The Marathon County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of a woman found dead in a semi trailer early Thursday morning in Marathon County.

Sheriff Scott Parks identified the woman as Cynthia Lozier, 43 of Galloway.

Lozier's autopsy was scheduled to be performed Friday in Madison.

Authorities do not suspect foul play and are awaiting the results of a toxicology report to release a cause of death.

The Marathon County Sheriff's Department said detectives are investigating a death at a business in the Town of Franzen, near Galloway.

Sheriff's deputies are in front of Liberty Packaging located at 8903 County Road C. Lt. Millhausen said crews were paged to the scene just before 4 a.m. Thursday.

The Sheriff's Department said a 43-year-old woman was found dead in a semi-truck. Investigators are working to determine a cause of death, but do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy will be performed Friday.

No other details are being released at this time.
