The Wisconsin State Patrol has identified the victim in that deadly bus crash in Vilas County as Barbara C Hilleque, 67, of Minocqua.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the person who died in Thursday's crash is a 64-year-old Minocqua woman. Her name is expected to be released Friday.

The investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing. State officers say 14 other people were hurt, but not seriously.

U.S. 51 has since reopened to traffic.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is giving an update on that deadly crash in Vilas County. A lieutenant says the crash involves three vehicles, two cars and one bus. He says the bus is believed to be from the Beloit area.

The lieutenant says the person killed was in one of the vehicles. Their name isn't being released at this time. The injuries to those on the bus are believed to be non-life threatening.

A commercial vehicle inspector is on the scene as well as an accident reconstruction team.

We're following breaking news out of Vilas County where U.S. 51 is shut down near Arbor Vitae because of a crash.

A Lieutenant with the Wisconsin State Patrol says it involved two vehicles including a small bus that had multiple passengers. At least one person is dead and there are multiple injuries.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. at Airport Road/Old 51 Road.The road isn't expected to open up for a couple of hours.

The State Patrol has set up a detour:
NB traffic: Take US 51 to Airport rd., Go west on Airport to N Farming rd., Go North on N. Farming Rd. back to US 51. Reverse for SB traffic.
