STOCKBRIDGE, Wis. (AP) -- A man lost in the blowing snow on Lake Winnebago was rescued with the help of a Department of Natural Resources airplane.
Two men were riding their snowmobiles across the lake Sunday afternoon and lost their way in the wind-whipped snow. When one of the men reached shore he realized his 33-year-old brother wasn't with him.
WBAY-TV reports rescuers from several agencies were called to locate the missing snowmobiler, but couldn't find him in the blowing snow. A Department of Natural Resources plane was able to locate the brother and guide rescuers on the lake. The man was brought safely to shore about two hours later.
