A 56-year-old Greenville man has died after a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning in Portage County.
In a press release, Chief Deputy Daniel Kontos from the Portage County Sheriff's Department says Michael E. Lipske failed to stop at a stop sign on County Highway P near County Highway 34, near Junction City, and struck tractor-trailer unit broadside.
The accident happened just after 10 a.m. in the Town of Carson.
Lipske was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
