Crews battling a large brush fire in Portage County have the blaze contained, according to our reporter at the scene.
A dispatcher with the Sheriff's Department says the scene is located on Highway II and Highway C in the Township of Linwood. That's located west of Stevens Point.
Crews were called to the scene at about 2:30 p.m.
The fire apparently split in two separate blazes.
No homes or buildings are in jeopardy at this time.
