Crews battled a blaze at a recycling center located north of Phillips on Friday.
A news release from the public information officer says the blaze started about 12:30 p.m. at Durand Companies Recycling Center on Highway 13 in Fifield.
Investigators say debris, tires and roofing materials burned, but no hazardous materials caught fire.
Firefighters had to call for mutual aid from departments from across the area. The DNR and Price County Land Conservationist are also on scene.
The Salvation Army was called in to provide support to firefighters.
No one was injured.
