Crews are battling a barn fire in Marathon County.
It happened Sunday afternoon on Bear Lake Road, just northwest of Aniwa, in the Town of Harrison. Law enforcement on scene say the barn was engulfed in flames when they arrived. They say three cattle have died, however, about 15 made it out safely. One person was treated for heat exhaustion.
There's no word on an exact cause yet. Multiple fire departments are on scene including Hewitt, Birnamwood, Mattoon and Easton. Stay tuned to wsaw.com and NewsChannel 7 for the very latest.
