The Rothschild Police Department has says the victim in Thursday's motorcycle and pick-up truck accident has been identified as Seth Stadler, 21, of Kronenwetter.

According to a news release from the Rothschild Police Department, a 21-year-old man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old teenager. She was not injured in the crash. Names aren't being released at this time.

Speed and alcohol may be factors in this crash. The investigation continues.

The Rothschild Police Department continues to investigate the accident. There is still no word on injuries at this time. Police say they will issue a press release with more information Friday morning pending family notification.

Marathon County Police Department says they had their crash reconstruction team at the scene until late Thursday night.

Business 51, where the crash occurred, is back open.

Part of Business 51 near the Cedar Creek Mall in Rothschild is blocked. Crews are on the scene of a motorcycle crash.

Capt. Jeremy Hunt with the Rothschild Police Dept. tells our NC7 crew the call came in about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Capt. Hunt says a Chevy truck was southbound on U.S. Highway 51 and was exiting onto Business 51. That's when the woman driver collided with a motorcycle - driven by a man - that was traveling north on Business 51. That accident happened just south of Morrison Ave. near Wausau Homes.

At this point, there's no word on injuries.

Traffic is blocked between Formost Drive and Village Way on Business 51.

Emergency crews responding to the accident: Everest Metro P.D., Rothschild P.D., Kronenwetter P.D., and the Marathon Co. Sheriff's Dept.
