Schofield Home Sustains Minor Damage in Electrical Fire

A fire at a Schofield home Monday morning appears to be electrical in nature.

Crews responded to the 5000 block of Pine Street in Schofield, around 11:30 am. The location is near the intersection of Ross Ave. and Metro Drive.

The fire started in the basement of the home near an electrical panel.

The home was not destroyed, but does have serious smoke damage estimated to be around $3,000 to $5,000.
