UPDATE: Victim in Rural Tomahawk Fire ID'ed

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a 70-year-old man killed in a fire Thursday afternoon east of Tomahawk.

The department said Kenneth Pietila died at the scene.

The fire was called in by a snowplow driver around early Thursday afternoon. Crews remained on-scene for several hours.

The cause remains under investigation.

The Lincoln County Coroner and State Fire Marshall were called to the scene of a structure fire on Pine Shore Lane, northeast of Tomahawk.

According to a press release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Dept. crews arrived at the scene around 1:30 p.m.

The fire's cause is unknown at this time.

More information is expected to be released Friday.
