The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating an crash that happened north of Tomahawk between a truck and a school bus.
According to a press release from the State Patrol, the crash happened at 4:08 P.M. Tuesday at the intersection of Lake Nokomis Rd. and Spillman Rd. near Rhinelander.
A pickup driven by a 64 year old male pulled out from a private driveway and was struck by a school bus.
The manager of Tomahawk Bus Service Inc. tells Newschannel 7 that 13 kids and the driver were on the bus at the time of the crash.
One of the children complained of a sore neck, so all the kids were sent to the hospital for observation as a precaution. After they were checked over by doctors, they were all released to their parents.
The driver of the pick-up was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. His condition is not known.
Assisting agencies included Oneida Co. Sheriffs Dept., Oneida County Ambulance, and Nakomis Fire Dept.
