According to online court records the former Abbotsford High School teacher accused of having sex with students during his employment with the district is heading to trial. A judge ruled Thursday morning that there's enough evidence for Andy Follen's case to head to trial.

A 25-year-old former Abbotsford High School teacher accused of having sex with students during his employment with the district is expected to learn if there is enough evidence for his case to head to trial Thursday.

Andy Follen is accused of sexual contact with two students on five separate occasions. The criminal complaint says some of the contact occurred at the school.

He also faces additional counts of bail jumping and intimidating a victim after he allegedly asked one of the girls to talk to the [Clark County] district attorney to get his charges lessened.

The investigation began Jan. 24 following Follen's resignation.

Police interviewed two alleged victims. Both confirmed there had been an inappropriate relationship; one stating sexual intercourse had occurred.

Online court records show an arrest warrant has been canceled for a former Abbotsford High School teacher accused of violating his bond by contacting an alleged first by phone, then through the internet.

Andy Follen appeared in Clark County Court Monday for an initial appearance.

A judge set bond at $7,500 cash; which Follen did post.

As conditions of the bond Follen may not to be on or around the premises of the Abbotsford School Grounds, or any school grounds without prior approval from the Court.

He also will have to call the Sheriff's Department every Friday before 6:00 pm from a landline telephone to verify where he is at and needs to stay in the State of Wisconsin.

He's no longer allowed to use the internet and cannot to possess any type of device that can connect to the internet.

He is expected to return to court on March 25.

New criminal charges filed in Clark County show former Abbotsford High School teacher, Andy Follen allegedly violated the terms of his bond by having contact with a former student he's accused of having sexual contact with.

Follen is already charged with five counts of sexually assaulting a student.

He's also expected to be charged with two counts of bail jumping and intimidating a victim as he allegedly asked the girl to talk to the [Clark County] district attorney to get his charges lessened.

According to the criminal complaint, Follen made contact with the teen on Feb. 17 by phone, requesting she set up an account with Ruzzle; a site where word games can be played online. It also allows users to send instant messages. According to court documents, through Ruzzle messaging, Follen said he would deny some of the things in the investigation and hoped the girl would 'help him out'.

Follen is also accused of telling the teen he loved her and wanted to see her again before her 18th birthday.

An arrested warrant has now been issued for Follen.

Follen is free on a $2,500 cash bond. As condition of his bond he may not be on any school grounds.

Again, Follen is no longer employed by the district.
