A five day trial is expected to begin October 15 for a 37-year-old Marshfield man charged with five counts of possessing child pornography.
Investigators say Steven Stauber Jr.'s computer had software installed that would hide his IP address, potentially concealing his computer's location.
A search warrant was executed at Stauber's home last October.
According to court documents, they seized a computer and two hard drives. According to court documents, investigations say they found hundreds of images of nude children and about a dozen videos of the same nature.
Detectives say based on a forensic search of Stauber's computer he would use Google to specifically search for child porn.
Stauber is free on $10,000 signature bond.
