The Oneida County Sheriff's Department says a convicted sex offender is scheduled to be released and will be living southwest of Rhinelander.
In 1999, Louis Hallock,52, was convicted of two counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault that involved three different juvenile males between the ages of 12 and 14 years old. Hallock would approach his victims in public places and befriend them. He provided gifts to his victims. He befriended the juveniles’ families as well.
Hallock’s victims were juvenile males unknown to him until he befriended them in public places.
On March 25, 2013, Hallock will be living at 3308 S. Fox Ranch Road in the town of Crescent in Oneida County.
He will be required to wear a GPS monitoring unit.
