An elderly Three Lakes community leader convicted of secretly videotaping college interns will spend six months in jail and two months on extended supervision.
Elmer Goetsch, 82, had served on the Oneida County Board of Adjustment.
According to a criminal complaint cited in the Lakeland Times, a male student staying at Goetsch's home discovered video cameras set up in bedrooms and a bathroom.
In the complaint, investigators say they found covert surveillance equipment and a videotape of a nude student. The Lakeland Times reports the interns were staying at Goetsch's house while they worked on a program to monitor boats for invasive species.
Goetsch was ordered to have no contact with the victims.
