Communities Offer Free Thanksgiving Dinner

Several area churches and community centers are opening their doors this Thanksgiving to make sure everyone has the chance to have a warm meal and some friendly company.

Clintonville
The Knights of Columbus' 37th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at the Clintonville Community Center starting at 11:30 am. There is no cost to attend, although donations are accepted. Reservations should be made by calling the Clintonville Community Center at 715-823-7667. Carry-out available. Please place order by Nov. 26.

Mattoon
The Mattoon Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday Nov. 27 at noon

Medford
Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Immanuel Lutheran Church, 420 Lincoln St.,
A Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served on Wed., Nov. 26 2014, from 4 p.m, to 6 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 420 Lincoln St., Medford, Wi. The event is open to the public. All are invited and welcome.

Merrill
The public is invited to the 4th annual free Thanksgiving dinner at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Town of Pine River. Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. To arrange for delivery call 715-536-9368 or 715-536-6965 by Tuesday, Nov. 25.
St. Paul Lutheran Church is located at W2608 County Road P.

New London
The public is invited to Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 am to 2 pm at United Methodist Church, located at 709 W. Pine Street in New London.

Plover
St. Bronislava Church will hold their Community Thanksgiving Dinner from 11 am – 2 pm on Thanksgiving Day. The church is located at 3200 Plover Road.
The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome.

Tomahawk

The St. Mary's Corpus Christi Center in Tomahawk is inviting the public to join them on Thanksgiving Day from 11 am to 1 pm for a Thanksgiving meal. The meal is free to all who join for fellowship on that day. It includes turkey and all the fixings. Those unable to come to the center may ask for a meal to be delivered (within the Tomahawk vicinity), by calling Saint Mary's parish office by November 25.

Wausau
First Presbyterian Church will be serving Thanksgiving dinner at 1 pm on Thanksgiving.
Home deliveries are available between 11 am and 1 pm. For deliveries call (715) 842-2469 between 3 pm and 6 pm. The church is located at 406 Grant Street in Wausau. Delivery order must be placed by November 24 at 6 pm.
