Summer can be problematic when it comes to kids forgetting what they learned the previous school year. We found some ways to combat the summer brain drain.

Forgetting important concepts could leave your children starting school behind the curve. Some ideas to keep your kids learning over summer are to play learning games online, calculate elapsed time while traveling, plan a grocery store budget, add fractions while cooking or simply read together.

If you have not gotten started on summer learning or wish you had done more, not to worry, experts say it is never too late and any amount helps your child feel more prepared.
