If you remember a good old fashioned race or challenging who could jump off the swing the furthest, you probably have endless memories on the playground!
If you're looking for a place to drop off your kids while you get things done, you may want to check out Wausau City Playgrounds this Summer!
The program runs through August 7th and there's still time to sign up.
All of the activities are supervised. Grades Kindergarten through 4th are encouraged to join in on the fun and burn off some of that energy.
Wausau Playground Director, Dan Piehler, says they incorporate physical activity, nutrition and weekly themes.
To register, stop by the Wausau and Marathon County Parks and Recreation office at 212 River Drive, Suite #2, Wausau, WI 54403
You can also register by mail.
