The 9th Annual Logjam Festival is a city wide celebration of the culture and history in the Mosinee area.
The weekend long event offers family entertainment, historic events, Civil War encampment, cemetery tours, and live entertainment. Children are not forgotten with a variety of hands-on art activities, children's activities and contests.
Old fashioned tents and living quarters are constructed so that participants can re-create what life was like in the 1700's and early 1800's, complete with full traditional clothing. The encampments commit to showing life without today's essentials like electricity, television, and running water.
Mosinee Logjam is taking place at River Park Friday August 8th through Sunday, August 10th.
The "Rendezvous" campers plan on acting out demonstrations of traditional crafts such as blacksmith work, weaving, cooking over an open fire, and handcrafting.
