A Chippewa Falls company as been awarded an $85 million contract to make 1,500 fuel and water pumps for the U.S. Marine Corps.
According to WEAU-TV, the five-year deal is the largest single order for W.S. Darley & Co. Production is set to begin next year. The company is expected to add five to ten new jobs.
Jeff Darley, the Chief Operating Officer tells WEAU-TV, “This is one more step forward to serving our troops that protect our country.”
