One of three people accused of burglarizing numerous businesses in northeasten Wisconsin is expected to be charged in Langlade County for the burglary of Builder's Service in Elcho.
At least 12 businesses in Outagamie, Door, Calumet, Waushara, Manitowoc, and Oconto counties were broken into 2012 and the early part of 2013.
According to court documents, Builder's Service reported being broken into sometime between close on May 4, 2012 and the morning May 5. Employees said the suspects used bolt cutters and sledge hammers to break into cash tills and filing cabinets. Items taken included change, tools, a flashlight, and candy bars.
Nearly eight months later some of the items believed to have been stolen were recovered at a home in Marinette County.
According to the criminal complaint, Tyson Rogers, 31, told investigators she was involved in the burglaries of the Van Groll's Feed Mill in Waushara County, Shiocton Cut Stock, Wagner's Market in Black Creek, Abrams Feed Mill, Freedom Feed Mill, Seymour Flour Mill, Sherwood Elevator, Reedsville Coop, Mary's Place Cafe, Kewaunee Co. Rio Creek Feed Mill, Brussels Mill & Supply, and the Algoma Laundromat.
Rogers told investigators he and the others would "hit" approximately 8-10 businesses a night.
Court documents state Roger did have three accomplices. So far, only Rogers is expected to be charged with the burglary of Builder's Service.
Tyson Rogers is currently in custody in the Door County Jail.
