Trial Date set for Suspect in Clark Co. Overdose Death

A 28-year-old La Crosse man charged with the Dec. 2012 heroin overdose death of a Neillsville woman is scheduled to head to trial in January.

Reavon Taylor is charged with first degree reckless homicide.

According to a press release from the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Taylor provided heroin to Monica Cooper on Dec. 17, 2012 leading to her death. Cooper was 19-year-old.

Taylor remains behind bars on $100,000 cash bond.

The three day trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 26.
