Criminal charges have been filed against two men investigators say provided heroin to a to a woman in May 2012 resulting in her death.
According to court documents, on May 10, 2012 Stevens Point Police responded to a home on the 400 block of West Street North for a woman who was not breathing.
Twenty-six-year-old Jessica Newby was pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsy resulted show Newby died from a heroin overdose.
Investigators say Milton Smith, 24 and Seville Johnson, 25 sold heroin to Jessica Newby. Both men are expected to be charged with 1st Degree Reckless Homicide.
Smith remains behind bars in the Winnebago County Jail. Johnson is in custody in the Pontiac Correctional Facility in Illinois.
Initial appearance dates have not yet been set for either suspect.
