The Career Closet, a project of United Way Emerging Leaders, opened in February 2010 and serves men and women in need of clothes for interviewing or employment. Individuals may visit the Career Closet a couple times during their job hunt.
Their initial visit will help get them that "perfect outfit" for their next interview. After the get that new job, they are allowed to come back for a week's worth of clothing to get them started on their work wardrobe.
They can pick out the clothes and take them home for free.

Tuesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Wednesday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
1st Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - noon
Donations: Donations of contemporary men's and women's business and business casual attire and accessories are needed. New or like new, clean donations on hangers can be dropped off during regular hours.
Other Services: Individuals may request help with completing an application, resume, or interviewing skills.
Volunteers Needed: The Career Closet relies entirely on volunteers. Volunteers are needed to help during the hours the Career Closet is open and you can sign up for whatever times fit your schedule.
