Trying to keep a your car clean in the winter is nearly impossible. But car wash pros say a good clean vehicle will not only make your car look good, it will actually help prolong its life.
"Generally car washes are about twice as busy in the winter as they are in the other seasons,” explains Clay Weber, President of Car Buffs in Rib Mountain.
Weber says a weekly wash in the winter is the best method for prevention of future corrosion, possibly keeping the resale value higher in the future.
As for keeping employees warm on the job, Weber says they recommend dressing in layers.
“Gloves, jackets, and hats... definitely hats are mandatory,' he says.
