A Schofield dental clinic is offering trick-or-treaters the chance to exchange their loot for cash.

Orthodontist Dr. Dennis Fehrman will offer $1.00 per pound of candy donated now until November 9. The candy will then be sent to troops overseas.

According to Dr. Fehrman, “global sugar consumption for kids increase by about 2 percent annually and currently sits at 50 million tons per year, which means parents need to be sure their kids’ teeth are being cared for more than ever.”

Dr. Fehrman is located at 1815 Schofield Avenue in Schofield.
