Bus Drivers Brave the Wind and Weather so We Don't Have to

Updated: Thu 6:21 PM, Dec 20, 2012

Even though part of the state is in an emergency mode because of the heavy snow fall, however Wausau’s Metro Ride is operating as normal. In other words its back to business as usual.

No matter how many inches fall, or how many degrees below zero it is, the men and women of our local transportation system are committed and on top of their “A” game.

Tracy Pagryzinski, a bus operator for 18 years says, “Well actually, there are many of us that enjoy the snow days because it makes our days interesting and exciting.”

Rain, sleet, or snow; they make sure to get people to their destination safely and on time because that’s their job.

They know that in weather like this, sometimes there the only people you can count on to get from point A to point B.

Greg Seubert, Transit Director also added that they take their jobs seriously and will continue to meet the needs of the community as best they can.
