Fog is considered to be a factor in van versus bus accident Tuesday morning west of Shawano. According to a news release, the bus was in the process of picking up a child on Highway 29, east of Kroenke Creek Road, when it was rear-ended by a van.
Eight children were on the bus at the time of the crash. None of the students were injured in the crash, however the bus driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the van, 26-year-old Green Bay man, sustained non-life threatening injured but refused medical treatment.
The accident happened just after 7 a.m. in the Town of Herman.
