A water main break that caused slow downs the majority of the day on Thursday for traffic on Grand Avenue near Thomas Street in Wausau, will cause headaches for drivers again next week.
Beginning at 8 am on Monday, Dec. 31, Grand Ave will be reduced to one lane in each direction at East Thomas Street as crews repave concrete.
Traffic on Thomas Street will be detoured using Grand Ave, Henrietta Street and Seymour.
The detours are expected to last through 7 am on Jan. 2.
