Brokaw Mill in Transition Period

Updated: Fri 11:49 AM, Jan 25, 2013

In Brokaw, when the paper mill closed, much of the work force was out of a job. After being sold, a company has taken over in the transition of the mill to sell and dismantle what’s left inside.

The rest of their mission is to bring jobs back to the Brokaw area. Niagara Worldwide isn’t just in the business of making a lucrative profit for used fork lifts and computer equipment; their looking to attract potential buyers.

To do what they have to, they need to redevelop the building and equipment to get Brokaw going again.

President of Niagara Worldwide, Eric Spirtas said, “We look for industrial type environments where we can bring in our tools to break down and sell this equipment. We want to try and reuse this facility to get jobs back here, but we have to transition this place the right way.”

Niagara Worldwide will host its first auction on February 4th. For a complete listing of items and how to get in touch with the company, log on to www.niagaraworldwide.com.
