The daughter of Live Aid founder Bob Geldof passed away. Peaches Geldof was only 25 years old. She was a model, journalist, and TV personality in Britain. Her father released a statement calling peaches the wildest, funniest, and most clever member of their family. He did not say how she died. Police rule her death as "sudden and unexplained." Her mother, Paula Yates, died of a heroin overdose in 2000. Peaches leaves behind two children and her husband.
TV news pioneer Barbara Walters announced her retirement date will be May 16th. That will be her last day on her talk show, "The View." The 84 year old was the first woman to co-anchor an evening newscast. Walters has had health problems in recent years including open heart surgery. She says she still plans to remain on board for "The View" as the show's executive producer.
Justin Timberlake is putting on his suit and tie for his upcoming tour. The R & B and pop star just announced he'll be performing shows in more than 20 cities nationwide, starting in July through the end of the year. That's good news for fans who missed his 20/20 Experience tour last year.
