A much anticipated tradition at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum is here once again.
The 38th annual Birds in Art exhibit officially kicks off tomorrow.
It features paintings, sculptures, and carvings of birds from artists all over the world.
This year features more than 120 new works on display and many of them come from artists right here in Wisconsin.
Artist Clarence Cameron of Madison is thrilled to see regional work on display.
" I think it is very important to have some Wisconsin representation here. We represent Wisconsin and this is an international museum. So, certainly we should be included if our art is of value." Cameron says.
The artists with work on display got a chance to meet one another today.
Many will be on hand tomorrow when the show officially opens to the public.
The exhibit will run through November 10th.
